Samsung announced the Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5 last month under a complete new new series of smartphones with metal unibodies. Even though, the Galaxy A3, the Galaxy A5, and the Galaxy A7 were leaked prior to the official announcement and it was expected that Samsung would launch these three devices at once, but the Galaxy A7 never made it to the official announcement. Well, it looks like Samsung might announce the Galaxy A7 soon as it has passed through FCC. The FCC has confirmed that the Galaxy A7 (SM-A700FD) features 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, and A-GPS. The certifications also reveals that it measures 150mm in height and 75mm in width. Going by the previous leaks and our exclusive reports, we have a fair idea of the specifications of the Galaxy A7. It features a 5.2-inch 1080p display, an octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC with 64-bit CPU cores, Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage. It will most probably be equipped with a 12-megapixel primary camera with 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel secondary camera.
The Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5 were leaked so often but we announced very late because Samsung apparently met with low production yields while manufacturing the metal casings for these devices. Also, according to another report, the Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5 are facing signal strength issues. Did Samsung held off the announcement of the Galaxy A7 due of the same reason?
