It appears that there is an
updated Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablet on the way. An entry intro the
Geekbench database revealed details about the upcoming tablet.
The yet to be revealed Samsung device will carry the model number SM-T805S. It will be powered by a beefy Exynos 5433 chipset with octa-core CPU - a significant improvement over the Exynos 5 Octa 5420 we experienced in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Support for LTE-A networks will also be on board.
Reportedly, the updated Samsung Galaxy Tab S will launch in Korea at some point between mid-October and early November. There’s no word if the device will make it outside of its home market.
