Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 comes with 10.1 inches TFT
display with a resolution of 12800 x 800 pixels and a pixel density of
149-ppi.
For the hardware and OS, the iPad Mini 2 has a Cyclone 1.3GHz dual
core processor and supports an A7 chipset. It runs on the iOS 7 that can
be upgradable to iOS 7.1.1 operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 comes with dual core 1.6GHz CPU along
with an Intel Atom Z2560 chip. The tablet runs on the version 4.2.2
Jelly Bean OS.
The iPad Mini 2 has 1GB DDR3 of RAM in comparison to the 1GB RAM of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1.
For the camera specs, the latest high-end devices come equipped with
dual cameras. The iPad Mini 2 has a 5MP and 1.2MP rear and front camera,
respectively, in comparison to the 3.15MP and 1.3MP rear and front
camera of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1.
Apple's iPad Mini 2 $399, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is around $380.
